I was just talking about this with my partner! This is totally amazing and weird. They were saying how the cat is sort of 'standoffish', and only lies down with the patients right before they pass. How amazing is that? I think cats have this ability to know us better than we know ourselves.
I believe it. Animals can't communicate like we do, so they go by their senses and feelings. My dog would always know when I was upset, even if I never showed it to anyone.
I've read about it...I totally believe it.
